At Rustbusters we provide mechanical component restoration for all veteran, vintage, classic and collectible vehicles with  two, three or four wheels .
Specialised removal of surface corrosion, rust, paint and other surface treatments, from all metal surfaces is undertaken with our Vapourblast process.

The vapour blasting process is also known as aqua blasting, wet glass bead blasting, Vaqua-blasting, Abrasablast

Vapourblast provides derusting, scale removal, decarbonising, deoxidising, paint removal, cosmetic surface finishing, micro-deburring, fine peening, bonding preparation, circuit board cleaning, coating removal, mould cleaning, pre-paint & pre-plating surface preparation, surface-contaminant removal and delicate deflashing of thermoplastics

The process is applied using graded spherical glass beads in our Vaqua high performance aqua-blast machine, which simultaneously degreases and provides rust inhibition.
With the Vapourblast process there is NO IMPREGNATION of the surface and no damage to sharp edges and precision surfaces

The Vapourblast process is not only one of the world's fastest, most efficient and most economical metal cleaning and finishing systems, it totally eliminates the health and environmental hazards associated with strong chemicals and dust associated with other conventional methods.

NOTE: Components that have been vapourblasted will sometimes require a post-treatment prior to assembly. At Rustbusters we rinse and air-blast all components after treatment but it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all precautions are taken to reduce any possibility of media entrapment prior to assembly. Customer must pay special attention to examining and thoroughly cleaning threaded  blind holes, galleries, cavities, drillings, etc
